The green power that flows into the Austin Energy® system reduces the generation required by power plants burning natural gas.
Coverage Areas
Residents of Austin can enter their address to order Austin Energy® service. The Austin area is not yet deregulated, so there are no competitive providers. You can still order Austin Energy® through MoveAustinTX as well as many other essential home services.
